i have a problem with people calling steph one of bruce’s kids not only because it’s not even remotely true but because it also just feels like an insult to her. that man consistently disrespected and devalued her and wouldn’t even take off his cowl as she lay dying. she was the narrative’s punching bag in nearly every comic she was in up to her death. bruce (and everyone else around her tbh) treated her like she was incompetent no matter how many times she proved herself. so yeah i have a big issue with people only talking about her in order to tie her to one of her harshest critics.
